Classification of Models (Taxonomy)

GEMS employs a classification of models defined in taxonomy.yml file to organize models into taxonomy groups (e.g., production, balance, storage). These groups guarantee certain modelling choices and how outputs are aggregated, mapped and filtered. This ensures consistent and logical data combination across components.
